I have always loved Teni as an artist. I admire her voice, the way she sings, the vibes she gives while on stage and the way she carries herself as a female superstar.
The session with her was a very good one. Teni is a great artist to work with. And if you would like to know, I look forward to working with her again”, said Mulla Rae.

According to Mulla Rae, the idea of the song titled ‘Your Matter’ came while he was recording a different song in the studio “It just dropped in my mind as I was trying to create another song. So I took out my pen and wrote down the first draft of the song, as it brewed in my brain. No time.”

Sharing what has been his constant inspiration and source of motivation, he said “My first time in Lagos I got the opportunity to see some top artists in the industry. For instance, I got to meet Joeboy at SoundCity and when he saw me he said he thought I was Omah Lay. He told me that I looked like Omah Lay. I also watched Rema perform live at an event. I was also invited to the launch party of Ayra Starr’s album ‘19 & dangerous’. I have also had the opportunity of watching Phyno record live in his house. We got a chance to talk and he gave me some good advice. He said that I have to keep making songs.”

On what he feels is currently missing in the Industry, he said “I think there is not much love in the industry at the moment. Some of the top-rated celebrities don’t care about us. By us, I mean upcoming artists. Once an artist becomes big and famous they don’t care about those coming up. They should be love in the industry, so many artists are down and broke but nobody cares. We should learn to show love and a helping hand to one another”, said Mulla Rae.
