A blend of traditional influences, contemporary culture and pervasive Afropop has been channeled by Nigerian musicians into a unique sound. “Akon, 2 face and Davido are the three people I admire in the music industry. They are people who inspired me not just their music alone but their humility and heart of giving back to the community. Music isn’t just about just singing, it goes beyond that, the humility in it and the power to control the fame and I think being able to humble myself and control the fame and being able to interact with my fans is an advantage and this I learnt from these people I have mentioned,” he stated.
Adegoke Aderinmola is a  Nigeria’s Hip Hop/R&B singer, artistically known as Raymond Fix. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Adegoke in Ejigbo, Lagos State, Raymond Fix moved to Akure when he was nine years old. He grew up with his Grandma listening to the likes of King Sunny Ade, Dele Taiwo, Tu Pac Shakur, Plantashun Boiz, Remedies, Craig David, Joe, and R. Kelly.

He said he is currently working with the rave of the moment producer Blaise beats, “in 2022, I would be dropping my next EP and trust me, it is something Africa and the world is not ready for,” he stated.
Raymond Fix said that Nigerians should we be expecting him to land next Grammy awards and what he would have became if he were born in USA.
