From 2014 when he broke his musical duck with a thrilling single titled “Okada”, independent US-based Nigerian-Cameroonian artist in diaspora, Edet Otudor Otudor Ene popularly known as O2udor has grown in leaps and bounds. In recent years, he has managed to grace the biggest stages in Washington D.C. and Maryland such as The Anthem, The Fillmore, the Howard theatre etc as an opening act for some of the biggest names in international music like Maître Gims, Davido, Burna Boy and Fally Ipupa

But his biggest dream, according to him, is to impact the lives of millions across the globe with his message, sell out shows across the world and be able to make a living off his music,

“ I want to be able to provide for myself, my family, my community and the needy in other communities around the world. My strategy is hard work, taking one day at a time with the mindset that to achieve this dream, it will not happen overnight. I have to build it like a castle from the ground up and it starts with one brick. I will continue to make music, do my very best to promote and market myself until I attain the level where I can get the necessary sponsorship I need to take my career to the next level,” he said.

O2udor describes himself as an activist and an advocate for the peace and freedom of his people. Besides using his music to sensitize his audience on the importance of loving and caring for one another, he has managed to use his platform to raise funds repeatedly for charity.

“I see helping people in need as an achievement. It is something I have been able to do through my music. I have also actively participated in rallies and peaceful protests which have yielded results for my people. Examples are, the End SARS movement, the Cameroon civil crisis and the most recent where I was one of the headline music artists at a peaceful protest in Washington, DC, USA to urge the US government to grant TPS (Temporal Protected Status) to Cameroonians in the USA. All this was made possible as a result of my music,: he said.

O2udor started his music journey in church, as a young Sunday school kid, where he learned to play different instruments, and singing with his peers.

He did his Junior Secondary School 1 and 2 in Calabar, Cross River State. There in Nigeria he was opportune to be in the choir where he found his voice. When he returned to Cameroon to continue his secondary education he got the opportunity to be part of the cultural club & choir of Presbyterian Secondary School, Mankon and represented his school at many national competitions.

When he got admission into University of Buea, South West Region of Cameroon he met several young and aspiring musicians, producers, dancers etc who influenced his growth into music.

In 2014 he recorded his first official song titled “Okada” , a song he dedicated to commercial motorcyclists and their contribution to the community in terms of transportation.

He cemented his presence on the music scene with another single in 2015 titled ‘Fo Ma Katier”.

In 2016 and 2017, he had a number of features in some of the song titles which include; Gimme Ya Luv, I know, U bad.

2018 appeared to be his best year as he released his first Extension Play titled “Incarnation of Love EP having released three singles, namely; Best Friend, My Girl and Run Dat .

In 2019 he released another single titled “Black Queen”. His first studio album titled CMDGF (Closed Mouths Don’t Get Fed) was released in November of the year 2021 comprising 16 original tracks.
