If you keep your focus and you don’t allow for distractions in your life pursuits, especially the ones you want to earn a living from, it is just a matter of time, you will celebrate many successes, Nigerian entertainment entrepreneur, Augustine Emeka Ugbaja, has said.
Ugbaja, popularly called Dr Whyte Offical in the industry, said that anyone who is committed to his endeavours will make the best out of it no matter the challenges being faced.
Hence, he encouraged Nigerian investors, especially those in challenging terrains to keep their focus, and get empowerment in needed areas and upgrade their skills to so they can compete favourably among competitors.
He also charged that they must understudy the terrain and know the system very well so they understand the price they have to pay to get to the top of the ladder of their engagements.
He also charged the youths to ensure they make their right choices on the career they want to build in life, especially those who intend to go into music, who he said must be able to task their brain and be creative enough to compose competitive songs.
“This industry is very dynamic, it is not static, so, anyone in it has to have a liberal mind, and at the same time, be coordinated, so you are able to develop along the productive trends in the industry.
“You also need a lot of creativity, as this is what the industry is all about. Show concern in the progress of artistes on your label as this is what keeps them glued to you.
If artistes under you are happy doing business with you from their primitive stage, once they become stars, it will be easy for you to retain them, just like Mavin Records of Don Jazzy,” Ugbaja said.
