Lagos–based business tycoon and socialite, Odunayo Taiwo, has found fulfillment in converting her hobby into real business.
Speaking at the opening of Odun Creams and Cakes’ first outlet located at Anthony Village, Lagos, Taiwo said the feat is a dream come true.
“For a long time, we have been working from home. We have grown from the inside as a home baker, and my environment needs what I do. So, I thought to share what I do with everyone. Aside this, we were choked inside, so I had to move out and take it to another level. This is my first outlet outside the house,” she told Saturday Sun excitedly.
Taiwo, who is also a pharmacist, shared her journey into baking. “I am a pharmacist by profession. I graduated in 2010 then worked in the hospital. The passion for baking and cooking has been there even while I was in school. So, coming out of school, I was partially working as a baker and pharmacist. It got to a point where I had to define what I wanted, and what I wanted to channel my energy into. At a point, my husband got transferred to Lagos and that was a turning point into starting this business,” she said.
