My passion for music brought me this far, says Dj4kerty

Popular Nigerian Disc Jockey, Oke Adebowale Tony better known as Dj4kerty has narrated how his passion for music propelled his professional career.
The 26-year-old Lagos bred who hails from Osun state recounted how he started his career and what music meant to him in a recent chat, he said “I started as an apprentice under my boss back then at Ikorodu, the year 2013. It wasn’t easy but the passion I have for music couldn’t stop me, I can’t sing but I can make you all dance till dawn. I love music so much since I was a kid, music means the world to me because it is irreplaceable”, he said.
On how the pandemic year has been for him since no usual shows and club hangouts, he said “It has been a rough year and hectic one when the lockdown started we all thought it’s going to be temporary not knowing the world will be shut down for months. It’s not easy but I survived glory to God almighty.”
Dj4kerty mentioned his mother as part of his everyday motivation on his journey to the top in the highly competitive Nigerian entertainment music space, “Seeing my idols still striving and hustling more to be at the top and my mum. They motivate me to keep pushing”, he said.
Dj4kerty who is currently Davido’s official to upcoming Dj’s in his own words “They should keep fighting and keep their consistency on one day it will be their turn to shake the industry”, he said.
