Ipadeola Abiodun Oriyomi popularly known as Swag Omoluabi has described his rise from a young boy at Ijora Badia in a Lagos slump, to the stardom today, as an eventful experience that gave him confidence to tell Nigerian youths that hard work pays.

Swag Omoluabi is an Instagram brand influencer, businessman, entrepreneur and a philanthropist. He had chains of business which he put in place through rigorous years of painstaking hard work, diligence, sacrifices and perseverance.

Some of his business ventures include Swag Omoluabi blog, Omoluabi Logistics and Omoluabi Furnitures, These businesses have grown big and today he has become a household name.

He revealed that his mother and the environment he grew up really motivated him. “I grew up in an area called Ghetto Badia. We have lot of hustling mothers and fathers that work very hard and smart, those parents motivated me,” the graduate of Accounting from Lagos State Polytechnic said in a recent interview.

“I always amazed when many youths complain of lack of job opportunities. I have always loved to be an entrepreneur right from when I was a child. My mum always tell me, ‘Son no matter the education you have, no matter the degree, always make sure you also become a self-entrepreneur, because that’s the only way you can become your own boss,”26 -year- old Swag Omoluabi said.

Swag Omoluabi believes every Nigerian youth can become whatever he or she ambitions to be in life just as he did and become successful today, adding that the currently economic downturn being experienced in the country should not be a stumbling block for the youths to maximize their potentials.

“Notwithstanding the high rate of unemployment in the country, personal creativities and thinking outside the box are the way out for us.

“Now, in this modern life, the new media has taken a different approach, the internet houses billions of blogs and websites, and with the unexpected challenge in the wake of the economic recession across nations of the world, which has conditioned everyone into virtual thinking out of the box,”added Swag Omoluabi.
