Winners of this year’s Felabration artwork competition will smile home with a total prize money of N500,000.
With the theme, ‘Fear Not 4 Man’, three winners are expected to emerge in the art competition. The overall winner will be presented with a cash prize of N250,000, while the first runner-up will walk away with N150,000, and the second runner-up N100,000. The submission portal for the artwork competition opened on June 15, 2022 and is scheduled to close on July 31, 2022. The competition is open to individuals all over the world.
Over the years, Felabration has provided a platform to stardom for young Nigerian talents. The competition has continued to be an opportunity for global recognition in the world of arts. The exhibition of artworks and selection of winners will take place at New Afrika Shrine, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos.
Respected personalities and experts in the art world have been selected as judges for the competition. They include Prince Yemisi Shyllon, Otunba Mufu Onifade, and Sarah Boulos.
Other events lined up for Felabration 2022 include the Felabration Afrobics Dance competition, Secondary Schools Debate, Fela Debates, Fashion Show, Dress Like Fela Day, Felabration Ladies Webinar and Music Concerts featuring Nigerian and international artistes.
