The season 7 of Africa’s biggest gospel children and youth talent competition, God’s Children Great Talent (GCGT), will be bigger and better. This is coming after the organisers at a media unveil held in Lagos during the week announced a whopping N10 million, a brand new car and recording management deal worth N250 million as star prizes for this year’s winner.

The unveil had not only witnessed live performances from past winners of GCGT but also attracted high profile guests that included Omawumi, Darey Art Alade, Nike Laoye, TY Mix, Kaffy, Uti Nwachukwu, and Sensei Uche among others.

Speaking on the occasion, a member of the GCGT Board Trustee, Pastor Bimbo Ozomah, said this year’s edition of God’s Children Great Talent would be awesome, as it will showcase lots of surprises with significant contribution of added value to Nigeria.

“God’s Children Great Talent is a credible platform created to help discover and showcase natural talent in children and youths for the good of our society and God’s Kingdom. With every season, we are thrilled to welcome a wide range of talents but we know this year, GCGT season 7 will be awesome as it will showcase lots of surprises with significant contribution of added value to Nigeria,” Ozomah stated.

This year’s competition will be produced by Nigeria’s leading events production company, Livespot in collaboration with OHTV and televised on partner stations in Nigeria and the United Kingdom, with viewers following the journey of contestants from audition to the grand finale in June at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

However, this year, the search will cover four main categories that include music, dance, comedy and spoken word. Interested participants are to register online at www.gcgt.org as they stand a chance of being selected during the forthcoming regional auditions.

An initiative of Redeemed Christian Church of God (City of David Parish) since 2011, GCGT is organised in partnership with The HOW Foundation.
