Victims of flood disasters that are currently gnashing their teeth and wailing over their losses have been asked to wipe their tears as plans were afoot to ensure they get prompt settlement from insurance companies to ameliorate their suffering.

The assurance came from the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) through Mr Rasaaq Salami, its Head, Corporate Communications and Market Development.

According to him, “NAICOM sympathises with victims of recent flood disasters across the country and wants to assure all those insured against such misfortunes of the Commission’s commitment towards ensuring prompt settlement of their claims by insurance companies”.

Salami noted that the Commission exists to ensure excellent services are rendered to consumers of insurance products in the country.
