Also, Governor Umaru Tanko Almakura has joined millions of Nigerians in felicitating with President Muhammadu Buhari on his 75th birthday anniversary.

In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Musa Elayo, Governor Al-makura described the President as ‘a man of uncommon credibility and integrity who, undoubtedly, came to rescue Nigeria from the brink of collapse and hopelessness.’

The governor commend the President for his effort and commitment to carry out the much-needed cleansing of the country of corruption and other social vices, adding that his achievement so far are clear indication of his vision for a better Nigeria.

The governor also called on Nigerians to be patient with the President, saying ‘though the road is rough and turbulent, the journey to prosperity and greatness that will ensure Nigerian takes her rightful place in the comity of nations sooner than later is on course.’

In the same vein, the Speaker of Nasarawa  State House of Assembly, Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has said that President Muhammadu Buhari is a special gift and great asset to Nigeria, considering his leadership qualities towards fighting corruption and ensuring the security of Nigerians.

Hon. Abdullahi said this, on Monday, in Lafia, the state capital, while felicitating with President Buhari on his 75th birthday, describing the leadership qualities of the president as ‘purposeful and eventful.’ He also urged all Nigerians to pray and give the President maximum support to enable him succeed in delivering the dividend of democracy to Nigerians.

According to a statement he personally signed and a copy of which was  made available to our correspondent, the Speaker said, “the birthday anniversary of the president was eventful and worth celebrating considering his commitment in serving the nation, Nigerians have seen what the government of president Buhari has done since its inception especially in the area of security, corruption, agriculture, youths empowerment among other sectors,” he said.
