The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) said it would  hold the 87th edition of the Consumer Outreach Programme in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital.

Tony Ojobo, Director of Public Affairs, NCC,  in a press release stated that, “the commission will use the forum to address mobile phone users’ issues bordering on satisfaction with the services of their network by providers, alleged health hazards of the telephone masts around them and  any other telecom matter consumers may want to get answers to.”

According to Ojobo, “you, the consumers, are hereby urged to be part of this all important forum holding in The Arena, 30 Tombia Road, GRA Phase 2, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, on Thursday, August 10, 2017, by 11am prompt, to discuss “Information and Education as a Catalyst for Consumer Protection. “All your service providers: MTN, Glo, Etisalat, Airtel, the consumer advocacy groups, among others, will be adequately represented,” said the NCC boss.
