The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) will hold its 90th edition of the Consumer Outreach Programme at Osisioma Ngwa, Aba, Abia State next Thursday, . According to Mr. Tony Ojobo , its Director of Public Affairs, the theme of the programme is “Information and Education as a Catalyst for Consumer Protection”.

In a statement made available to The Sun, Ojobo stated that the issues to be discussed include: “whether as a mobile phone user, you are satisfied with the services of your network providers, your concern about the alleged health hazards of the telephone masts around you, any other telecom issues that you would want answers to and suggestions that you can proffer to improve telecom services delivery”.

Ojobo advised all stakeholders to attend the consumer outreach programme for answers to the above and much more, stating further that all their service providers including MTN, GLO, 9 MOBILE, AIRTEL as well as Consumer Advocacy group, will be adequately represented.
