The Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), at the weekend confirmed the appointment of Mr. Adewale Oyerinde, as new Director-General of the Association, effective August 1st, 2022. NECA is the foremost Umbrella Business Membership Organisation in Nigeria and a leading voice of business in the country.  Prior to this announcement, Adewale Oyerinde was the Deputy-Director and Head of Membership Services of the Association. 

He joined NECA in 2010 and has worked in various capacities in the Social, Economic & Labour Affairs Department and also the Learning and Development Department of the Association. Before coming to NECA in 2010, he worked as Human Resource analyst at Rosequeen Consulting, a foremost Enterprise Development organization in 2005 and later joined Nagode Group (a multi-billion Naira Group of companies with interest in Healthcare, Logistics, Chemicals and Allied Products, Construction, etc. in 2008 as Head of Human Resources and Administration.

He has over 16 years’ experience in Industrial/Human Resources, Business Development, Stakeholders Management and key areas of Employers’ Federation/Business Membership Organization Management. Mr. Oyerinde is an HR thought-leader, an International Labour Organisation (ILO) trained Master Trainer and also United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) trained ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System), ISO 1400:2015 Lead Auditor. 

Oyerinde holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the University of Lagos; among others.
