The Governor of Taiwa in Niger Republic, Alhaji Abdulrahman Musa, has commissioned two road projects in Sokoto State as part of activities marking the third years of Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal in office.

The roads projects include the 3.2 kilometres township asphalt road along NNPC Mega Station to Salame/Mabera axis at the cost of N175 million, and less than 1 kilometer road in Agwai area of Sokoto metropolis at the cost of N95 million.

The 3.2 kilometers road was also named after the President of Niger Republic, Alhaji Mohammoudu Yusuf.

Speaking at the event,  Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, said the projects was part of his campaign promises for the people of the areas.

He noted that the routes will enhance socio economic activities within the state capital.

Also speaking, the visiting governor commended Governor Tambuwal for execution of projects that have direct bearing on the wellbeing of the people in the state.

He noted that since he arrived the state capital, Sokoto, he had noticed with keen interest of the turnaround of the state in terms of developmental projects under the Tambuwal administration.

Governor Musa also commended the mutual relationship that exist between the two states, and urged for more economic collaboration.
