Presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has said Nigeria, under the leadership of All progressives Congress (APC), is bleeding and required a qualified individual to rescue it from collapsing

He said the people were hungry while insecurity has taking over every part of the country. He called on the people of Nasarawa State to mobilise towards rejecting and stopping the APC from further sinking the country.

Atiku, in a statement by his personal adviser on youth affairs, and the northern coordinator of the Youths for Atiku/Okowa Campaign Council,  Aliyu Ibn Abbas, yesterday, said it was only former vice president that has the physical and mental ability to improve the economy, create job opportunities for the young people and put an end to insecurity in the country.

“Nigeria is bleeding and sinking. On a daily basis, people are being killed, wiped away from their various homes, internally displaced persons (IDPs) in every part of the country and people are no longer safe for the fear of kidnappers,” he said.

He, therefore, encouraged all supporters’ group to be steadfast and resilient in ensuring the right information concerning Atiku is sold to the public, noting that it was time to rescue Nigeria which, he said, only the PDP can achieve.

Meanwhile, former governor of Bauchi State, Ahmadu Adamu Mu’azu, described Atiku as the most suitable presidential candidate.

He disclosed during the inauguration of the North Central executives, state coordinators, and commissioning of the North Central zonal secretariat of Project 60:23 for Atiku-Okowa in Jos.

“Atiku is my friend, brother, and colleague and he stands the best among all candidates, he is physically and mentally capable, he has the experience to be the president, he has served for eight years as vice president and ran the country well. I want to assure you that if you want Nigeria to stand as strong and united, then you must vote for Atiku,” he said.

The former PDP national chairman, who served as the chairman on the occasion, said the 2023 election will reflect the true aspirations of Nigerians.

“I want to beg all Nigerians, especially you, the youths, to deliver Atiku in your wards, councils, states, and Nigeria overwhelmingly. I appeal to all of you that this is a decisive moment you must all stand to vote for Atiku because it is a matter of future of Nigerians yet unborn and we must vote for Atiku for a secure country. You must vote for today, vote for your children and grandchildren’s future, and trust Atiku.”

He added that the PDP candidate is a man of great destiny, patience, and courage.

The national patron, Yahaya Kwande, tasked all members of the group to work and deliver on their polling unit mandates, saying if each polling unit from the North Central will give 60 votes to Atiku, then he is already the winner.

Plateau State governorship candidate, Caleb Mutfwang, represented by his running mate, Josephine Piyo, urged supporters to vote all PDP candidates from the presidential to the state Assembly.

He noted that with PDP, Nigeria and Plateau State would be great, saying priority would be given to the security of the people.
