A group, Non-Indigenes Association in Lagos State has said their votes for the 2023 presidential election is for the former Vice President and PDP Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

The association which comprises of people from South South, South East, Middle Belt and Arewa said that after a careful study of the presidential candidates, they concluded that Alhaji  Abubakar is the most qualified to lead Nigeria out of the current mess that the country is in.

Chairman of the association, Chief Mrs Kate Onyechere, Nigerians are now dying silently as a result of suffering and hunger, which was inflicted on them by the APC –led Federal Government.

She said that even a bag of rice has become far more expensive than the minimum wage.

Speaking further, she said that when average Nigerians struggle to buy food items, cooking them becomes even far more expensive because of high cost of kerosene and cooking gas.

She said that non-indigenes association in Lagos is a political force that is currently spreading the message of hope in all the nooks and crannies of the country for Nigerians to reject APC and vote en masse for Alhaji Atiku Abubukar in the next presidential election.

In her contribution, the vice chairman of the organization, Dr. Mrs Emila Ezeudo advised Nigerians to make sure that they vote at the coming presidential election.

According to her, they must not only vote but stay behind to make sure that the BVAS captured their votes.

She said that Nigeria has never had it this bad before and, as such all hands must be on deck to vote out the APC.

In his remarks, the chairman of Arewa indigenes in the group, Alhaji Musa Buba said that even though Atiku Abubakar has the best chance of winning the next presidential election, they must not fold their hands.

According to him, where elections are won is in the polling units, adding that every member of the association should go to his or her ward to mobilize the people to vote for Atiku Abubakar.

Representatives of the association came from all the 246 wards in Lagos State.
