From Abel Leonard, Lafia

The presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has said Nigeria under the All Progressives Congress (APC) is bleeding and would require a qualified individual to rescue it from collapsing

Atiku said the people are hungry and insecurity had taken every part of the country and Nigerians do not have confidence in the APC while calling on the people of Nasarawa state to mobilise themselves towards rejecting and stopping the APC from further sinking the country.

Atiku disclosed this through his personal adviser on youth affairs, and the Northern coordinator of the youth for the Atiku/Okowa campaign council, Ambassador Alyu Ibn Abbas yesterday.

He said it is only Atiku Abubakar that has the physical and mental ability to improve the economy, create job opportunities for young people and also put an end to insecurity in the country.

“Nigeria is bleeding, sinking. On a daily basis, people are killed, wiped away from their various homes, IDPs in every part of the country, people are no longer safe for the fear of kidnappers among others” he said.

He encouraged all support groups to be steadfast and resilient in ensuring that the right information concerning Atiku is been sold to the public noting that it is time to rescue Nigeria.

The convener of the programme, Justice Alu, state chairman, Coalition of Support Groups, Nasarawa State, appreciated the presence of the special adviser saying it will go a long way in strengthening all the support groups in the state and would inform the presidential candidate of the party that they are fully in support of his ambition.

He further noted that leaders of various support groups will be giving additional information on the aspiration of the PDP candidate for the youth towards encouraging them to keep up the good work until the PDP takes back power in 2023.

“The support group would ensure total support to Atiku Abubakar and David Ombugadu to come out victorious after the 2023 general elections.”

Former Aspirant, Awe North senatorial district, Jamilu Idris also explained that the special adviser to the incoming president is in Lafia to interface with various support groups in the state to further informed the candidate that PDP in Nasarawa is ready to deliver Atiku Ombugadu.

“The essence is to give the support group more strength and a sense of belonging towards achieving the sole aim of rescuing Nigeria from the shackles of the APC bondage of 8 years.”

“The importance of this support group event on youth is to strengthen the political group so as to do more. If we were sleeping before, with this event we will put more strength to deliver Atiku Ombugadu in the state.”

Lending her voice, Yargata Victor Alu stated that the party is confident of winning the 2023 election, both presidency and governorship election, alleging that in 2019 Atiku won the election.

“As you can see Nigeria is bleeding and the only person capable of restoring back the lost of Nigeria is Atiku Abubakar”

In Nasarawa state, she said all is set to deliver David Ombugadu because the people have now seen that he is the only person that will rescue Nasarawa state from poverty, unemployment youth restiveness others.

“It happened in Osun recently and even in Nasarawa state. so it is not the first time the incumbent will be defeated. our people are united and the PDP is united I can assure you come 2023, PDP will clinch leadership of the state.”
