The Coalition for Peace and Justice (CPJ) has declared that the salvation of Nigeria is not in the hands of any of the presidential candidates contesting for the 2023 general elections, but in the hands of the Nigerian youths.

CPJ Convener, Abraham Sam Aiyedogbon made the declaration at a commemoration service to mark the second anniversary of EndSARS.

Aiyedogbon charged Nigerian youths to brace up for leadership vacuum in the country, as he urged them to be optimistic for a better future. In the same vein, Dele Farotimi said Nigerians need to be their brothers’ keeper and stand on their watch.

“The 2023 elections is a clash of visions. There are two ways you can change a country, it’s either by gun or PVC. We have a choice, but it’s not going to happen if we sit still in a corner; 2023 elections is the only chance we have to change this country, we need to take our lives into our hands,” he explained.

Also, Yemi Adamolekun, noted that, “enough is enough”, as he stressed that the 2023 elections is critical to the future of Nigeria.
