Nigerian Govt Should Pay More Attention To Fashion, Entertainment Industries – Dr. Scarlett Duchess
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Nigerian socialite Dr. Scarlett Duchess has advised the Nigerian government to concentrate more on the fashion and entertainment industries.

Scarlett Duchess said the government should develop these industries because they are two key sectors driving the country’s positive image abroad.

She noted that despite the international media airing more of the negative stories coming from Nigeria, fashion and entertainment are currently changing the narrative.

Scarlett Duchess pointed out that Nigerian youths are also getting better treatments and recognitions abroad due to their accomplishments in these fields.

She opined that the triumphs of Nigerian musicians Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Pardon C, Tems, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, and many others abroad are a product of their creativity and a testament that Nigerians are indeed hardworking.

Scarlett Duchess added that the likes of Lanre da silva, Lisa Folawiyo, Ohimai Atafo, Yomi Makun, and lots more are making great exploits in their field and giving the country a positive spotlight.

The light-skinned celebrity then queried why the federal government is not focusing on these industries to empower the youths even more so that they can boost the country’s GDP.

“Fashion and entertainment are industries the Federal Government needs to give more attention to. These industries have provided the country with more respect and they are currently major reasons a lot of foreigners see Nigeria in a positive light,” Scarlett Duchess told media personality, Adeyinka Oluwamayowa.
