Owing to non-arrival of election materials, voting did not hold at Ndi Obu Compound, in Ohafor Ward in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State, at polling unit 017.
By 3pm, voting materials were yet to arrive the unit, one hour after the exercise was supposed to end, had it stated at 8am. This was confirmed by Opurum C. Opurum, the Area Commander of Nigeria Civil Civil Defence Corps, Ohafia.
However, voters who were on ground to exercise their franchise, expressed displeasure at the development and hoped that no fabricated result will be declared later for the unit.
They called on INEC to be vigilant.
