HS Media Group, a global Sports Television conglomerate will on Friday organize a special forum on the Rio 2016 Olympics to be graced by secretary general of Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) and other top sports stakeholders.
The event, tagged “Rio 2016 EDITORS’ FORUM”, would hold at HS Media’s corporate headquarters in Oregun, Lagos at 10:00 am.
The forum, which would be sponsored by HS Media Group, the emerging media hub in the Coast of West Africa, would be a congregation of carefully selected crack team of seasoned Sports Journalists, players in the industry and administrators.
Expected at the gathering are MuminiAlao – Managing Director Complete Communications, Kunle Solaja – GM Special Publication (The Sun Newspapers), Ade Ojeikere – Group Sports Editor (The Nation Newspapers), Tony Ubani – Chairman, Guild of Sports Editors/Group Sports Editor Vanguard Newspapers and a host of others.
“The objective of the Forum, among other things, will be to provide a veritable platform for these men of sports experts and pen profession to depict an accurate status of sports in Nigeria, highlight the present challenges of our Olympic Contingent preparations, and identify practical and specific steps to achieving podium performances for Nigerian athletes at future Olympics with a view to encouraging more commitment and support for TEAM NIGERIA by both Public and Private Sectors,” Mr. Taye Ige – Chairman/CEO HS Media Group explained.
Special Guests speakers are TundePoopola – Nigeria Olympic Secretary General, EnefiokUdo-Obong – Olympic Gold medallist in 4 x 4 Relay, FalilatOgunkoya – Olympic Silver medallist in Women’s 400m.
