Sunarea Han, Director of Korean Cultural Centre, Abuja, (KCC)Nigeria, has declared that Nollywood has a very strong presence in the film industry globally.

He articulated this position during during the Korean Film Festival which held at Genesis Deluxe Cinema, Lekki, Lagos recently.

Han said: “I think it is very meaningful for us to be here for the purpose of cultural exchange especially between Korea and Nigeria and I look forward to bigger partnerships in future.”

In the same vein, Meeyoun Jee, a staff of KCC said: “We all know that Nollywood is very popular in the world while Korean movies are also popular. We know that Nigerians love Korean culture and that is why we have brought it closer to them.”

Three films were screened. They include A Hard Day, All About My Wife and Man on the Edge. 

A Hard Day is a fast-paced thriller with suspense, humour and hope. All About My Wife is a romantic comedy directed by Min Kyu Dong. It is about the efforts of an unhappy husband who tries to sabotage his marriage by hiring another man to seduce his wife. Man on the Edge is a gang star comedy directed Cho Jin Gyu.
