Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan will on Sunday at the Adamasingba Stadium, attempt to upturn their fortune for the better as they seek to swim out of relegation waters.

The Fatai Amoo tutored Ibadan outfit will confront Nasarawa United in the NPFL week 35 encounter as the League stretches home wards.

3SC are 17th on the NPFL table with 43 points from 34 matches and another slip against their northern counterparts will definitely spell doom for them.

But their coach Fatai Amoo, who is already aware of the consequences of the epic encounter, believes the club will retain its NPFL status at the end of the season despite the setback suffered last Sunday when they lost 2-0 to Abia Warriors.

Amoo hinged his submission on the ability of his players to rise to the occasion when the chips are down.

He assured the club’s teeming fans that 3SC won’t stop fighting despite recent setbacks in the league, but charged them to keep faith with their darling club.

“We had a brief setback against Abia Warriors, but we are very hopeful of avoiding relegation.

” It’s been a tough season for the club but we will continue to fight and ensure we don’t go down at the end of the season.

‘The match against Nasarawa is indeed going to be really tough but we are prepared and it is a must win match for us,” he said.
