Mountain of Fire and Miracle, (MFM) would be guests of Sunshine Stars of Akure tomorrow.

The Olukoya Boys occupy second spot on the NPFL table with 10 points from five league matches. They will be guests to Sunshine Stars of Akure tomorrow for Matchday 6 clash tagged the ‘Southwest Derby.’

While the Akure Gunners have told whoever cares to listen that they will beat the Lagos based outfit but MFM teenage sensation Adebayo Waheed has dared the gunners instead saying the Akure outfit must fall in their own backyard.

Waheed who is basking in the euphoria of his debut for his club, has said he is excited with his first Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) goal and has promised to do more for his team, especially in tomorrow’s encounter.

The Lagos-based club defeated four-time NPFL winners Kano Pillars 1-0 in last Sunday’s NPFL Matchday 5 clash at the Agege Stadium courtesy of a 65th-minute flying header from the young striker who  substituted Adegboyega Adekunle in the 60th minute of the match.

The 18-year-old forward believes his feat had a divine touch to it and took time to credit his team’s coaching crew and teammates for coming out tops in the game.

“I want to thank God for giving me this opportunity and secondly I want to thank the coaches and my teammates for giving me the opportunity to be in the team and to play.

“I’m so excited to score the goal, I want to do more and I promise I will do my best for the team and help the team meet its target for the season as I continue to better my football career.”
