The Navy Sailing Club, Ojo, Lagos in line with the tradition of the body has set up the Annual General Meeting cum Electioneering Conduct committee to see to a successful election of officers for the next one year.

In recognition of the excellent job done last year, Engr. Paul Emuekpere was reappointed chairman and has Lt Cdr. Daniel Essien as his vice. Other members of the committee include Ekele Ogbonna, Ashom Luka, Efe Anderson, Chief Paul Chikere, Roland Adaimoni, Bar. Emmanuel Agha and MWO Hillary Egwue (Retd) will serve as secretary.

Club Commodore of the Navy Sailing Club, Navy Captain Femi Daramola (Retd) charged the committee to supervise and make guidelines on the conduct of electioneering campaign as well as collect, collate letters of intent and vet candidates 30 days before the AGM.

Meanwhile, the Club has congratulated one of its members, HRM Alayeluwa Oba Taofik Adegboyega on his fifth coronation anniversary and pledged to be part of ceremonies marking the event come July 28, 2017 holding at the Imoore Playing Ground, Imoore, Lagos.

He said the Akeju (Awojo III), the Alahun of Imoore and Apapa Kingdom has been very active in club activities and as such deserves the presence of members.

The special guest of honour of the day is the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Her Excellency (Mrs) Idaiat Oluranti Adebule with former chaieman Oriade Local Community Development Area, Honourable Ibrahim Sanusi as host while Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma providing music.
