The Denver Nuggets have picked up the fourth year team option on Zeke Nnaji’s contract for the 2022/24 season and will pay the power forward $4,306,281 for the extra season, according to top NBA insider, Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Nuggets decided to exercise the option on Nnaji after the forward returned to the training camp for the 2022/23 season as a more improved player having worked on specific areas of his game and also adding over 10 pounds of muscles.

Nnaji proved his worth in the team’s first preseason game of the season. Although they lost 112-101 to the Oklahoma City Thunder, the 21-year-old led his side in scoring with 15 points also leading in rebounds (six) in 17 minutes off the bench.

NBA top insider, Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted the news, “The Denver Nuggets are picking up forward Zeke Nnaji’s fourth-year option, source tells ESPN. Nnaji, the 22nd pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, has so far earned Michael Malone’s praise in training camp.”
