FORMER Anambra State Governor, Chief Jim Nwobodo has showered encomium on the duo of Emma Okocha and late Edwin Eze on the book on Rangers International Football Club.

The 172 page book with the title: Rangers International Football Club… History of a People chronicled the historic feats of the Enugu based soccer outfit that was formed in 1970 immediately after the end of the Nigeria, Biafra civil war.

Nwobodo,described the efforts of Okocha and Eze as a compendium of a memorable African side that touched on his life and also on every Igbo challenged with the destitution of the civil war pestilence, fighting and rising from the ashes and the devastation of that war.

doubt that this Igbo Institution has at last been given its place under the sun,” Nwobodo stated in the book’s introduction.
