Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki and the Chief of Staff to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Chief Mike Oghiadomhe, have joined other prominent Nigerians to congratulate Senator Yisa Braimoh on his 80th birthday.
In a statement, Governor Obaseki commended Senator Braimoh for his remarkable contributions to the development of Edo State as well as the unity and progress of the country.
Obaseki said, “I extend hearty congratulations to Senator Yisa Braimoh, the Osiozoikhai of Auchi Kingdom, a nation builder and an elder statesman of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“You have made remarkable contributions to the development of the state, even as you continue to work for the unity and progress of our nation.
“You gave a good account of yourself when you served as Senator for Edo North Senatorial District, and have remained a promoter of justice and equity.”
“As you join the octogenarian league, I celebrate you and pray that the Almighty grants you many more years in strength and in good health.”
