Obafemi Akinsola, stage name is OBHE, says that his dad is his biggest inspiration to making music. According to the artist when asked what inspired him to make music, he said: My big inspirations comes from my pops and my uncle, my Pop was a choir master in church and a pianist, he even made some records of his own, but he didn’t release them. Watching him do all these things while I was a kid is a big one for me; and then when I left my parents’ house after secondary school I went to my uncle’s house who is a rapper and owns a studio, I started learning how to make beats in his studio. So my Pop and uncle played a big role in my life.

 

The native of the ancient kingdom of Ibadan in Oyo State, Obhe is a musical talent that believes his rhythm, melody and composition are what makes him a great musician.
