Excitement is in the air as the stage is set for the eighth edition of gospel music concert, The Real Worship 2019 tagged: Set Time, which holds November 29 at FHA Field, Festac Town, Lagos and billed to thrill are the likes of top gospel musicians including Tope Alabi, Bukola Beekes, Efe Nathan and David G among a host of others.
Speaking to TS Weekend, Pastor Alex-Edosa Igbineweka said: “John Chapter 4, Verse 23 and 24 says God is a spirit and he seeks those who will worship him in spirit and in truth. That is what inspired The Real Worship where we shall raise an alter of worship where God will descend upon his people and bless them. This year marks the 8th edition of The Real Worship. We are glad to inform you that the stage is set for this year’s edition which holds at FHA Field on November 29, and it is going to be an explosion of stars as gospel music greats would be on hand to entertain.”
He also added that The Real Worship will present a platform for up-and-coming acts to strut their stuff as they perform alongside big names in the industry. He continued: “The Real Worship presents a platform for up-and-coming gospel musicians to showcase their talents as they rub shoulders with A-list gospel singers. These up-and-coming acts were auditioned through a rigorous process and we are preparing them to take the message of Christ to the world through music. The Real Worship concert has come a long way and we bless the name of Jesus for the thousands who have given their lives to Christ over the years. This year we are expecting over 10, 000 guests. It is going to be a night of praise and outpouring of the Holy Spirit! In the next five years, The real Worship will be a signature event across Nigeria God willing.”
Among others, the Assistant General Overseer in charge of Administration & Personnel, Pastor J.F. Odesola is Guest Minister for this year’s edition. To date Cobhams, Tope Alabi, Nosa, BJ Sax, Mike Abdul and Tosin B have graced The Real Worship stage.”
