“As a mobilisation group with special focus in Idemili North and South federal constituency, We are happily emboldened by this presidential vote of confidence for Okonkwo, because everywhere in this constituency, the same has been the grace since we harvested him in partnership as a passionate youths development enabler.

“I, therefore, thank the people of Idemili deeply for not only demonstrating total support for Obi and Labour Party, but for their uncommon political maturity to go for competence, capacity, compassion and consistency best evident in the Okonkwo candidacy.

The Obosi town youth mobiliser, who spoke when he received hundreds of ‘Obidient’ converts from the opposition parties, said: “By joining this national rescue efforts, the seed of equity, justice and fairness is being watered in our town to also grow practical inclusion in the political leadership of this dominant constituency. This is because Obosi town, though a critical victory decider based on numbers, has had the special privilege of representing the 17 towns that make up Idemili North and South federal constituency three times consecutively in the last elections. We cannot and should not glorify entitled incompetence in the face of a service driven star that Okonkwo represents.”
