Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has  commiserated  with the governor of Enugu State, Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi  over the death of the latter’s Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Mr. Uwakwe Abugu.

According to Governor Okorocha, who conveyed his message in a press statement he issued through his Chief Press Secretary, Sam Onwuemeodo, he stated that he received the sad news with great shock, adding that the death of a dedicated aide like Mr. Abugu could be very painful.

He urged his Enugu State counterpart and all those Abugu left behind, to  bear with the sad development as Christians.

Governor Okorocha described the late Mr. Abugu as a committed aide who died while serving the Government and people of Enugu State and the society at large.

The governor prayed that the good lord should grant Governor Ugwuanyi and members of Mr. Abugu’s family the strength of heart to bear this irreparable loss, and also grant Mr. Abugu’s gentle soul eternal rest.
