Results announced by the chairman for Imo West senatorial election indicates that governor Rochas Okorocha won with 141,117 votes

Former Chief of Staff to governor Rochas Okorocha, Uche Nwosu has emerged the flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Imo State for the forthcoming general election.

Nwosu polled 269, 524 votes, trailing by Chuks Ololo who polled 6,428 votes.

Other results as announced by the chairman electoral panel, Ibrahim Agbabiaka early this morning is as follows : George Eche (2454), Eze Madumere (2646), Hope Uzodinma (2729), Peter Gbujie (4855), Chima Anozie (3248), Jude Ejiogu (3456)Chris and Chris Nlemeoha (925) votes.

Results announced by the chairman for Imo West senatorial election indicates that governor Rochas Okorocha won with 141,117 votes, while Uzodinma trailed behind with 1,359 votes . Osita Izunaso polled 24 votes.

Professor Nnamdi Obiaraeri won Imo north senatorial seat with 67,438 votes while senator Benjamin Uwajumogu polled 5,743.

Emma Ojinere who is the sole candidate for Imo east senatorial election polled 41,562 votes to emerge winner.

House of Representatives and House of Assembly results were announced at the various Local Government Areas (LGA).
