Imo State  Governor, Rochas Okorocha has effected  a minor cabinet reshuffle.
With the recent shake up in the Executive Council, the former  Commissioner for Information, Strategy, Youths and Sports, Chidi Ibeh is now in charge of  the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, while Ifeanyi Ararume Jnr.  who was a former commissioner for Commerce and Industry will now supervise the Ministry of Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) and Internal Resources.
The former  commissioner for IGR, Dr. Orikaeze  Ajumbe was moved to the Ministry of Information and Public Utility, while Rodney Ajaelu now takes charge in the Ministry of Youths, Sports and Public Safety.
A statement by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Sam Onwuemeodo said the reshuffle has nothing to do with the non-performance of the commissioners as being rumoured in certain quarters .
Meanwhile, the governor has congratulated Imo Forum in Auto Spare Parts & Machinery Dealers’ Association (ASPMDA), Lagos International trade fair complex for winning the 2016 Geo-Political Zone Football tournament in the market.
Addressing the group during the launch of the cup and inauguration of new executive council in the market, the governor, represented by his aide, Mr. Cosmas Maduabuchi,  charged Imo citizens to complete the multi-billion naira Auto Spare Parts & Allied Dealers’ Association (ASPADA) market complex, Naze, near Owerri in record time.
