All is set for the 4th edition of True Nigerians Award and Hall of Fame scheduled for tomorrow in Abuja.
The True Nigerian Award is an up-shoot of “True Nigerians: Heroes of our time,” a 30 minutes television programme designed to celebrate Nigerians both at home and in diaspora who have excelled in their chosen professions or endeavours.
The programme features on AIT Network, DSTV (Africa Magic World), TSTv, Wazobia MaxTV, NTA Int’l, NTA 2 Lagos Network, with iconic musician, Zaaki Azzay, as anchor.
Those to receive this year’s awards are Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Niger State; All Progressives Congress vice presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima; Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State and Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
Others are Aishatu Ahmed, M. K. Dikwa, Obinna Iyiegbu, chief executive officer of Cubana Group; Chairman of Air Peace Airlines, Allen Onyema; Olympics gold medalists, Tobi Amosun; Steve Babaeko, and Mr. Marcaroni.
The award holds at Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja.
