Special Adviser to the Director General of the Atiku Campaign Organisation, Dr. Doyin Okupe, has denied reports that the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, commissioned Ballard Partners to conduct a poll survey; to access the chances of Atiku Abubakar’s chances in Saturday’s presidential poll.

Atiku is the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party.

Okupe made this known to in Lagos, yesterday, iwhere he expressed surprise that “the All Progressive Congress could resort to outright forgery by issuing a fake letter and went ahead to forge the signature of Brian Ballard.”

Okupe said this was clear indication that “the drowning APC is frantically looking for something to clutch on to, in its dying moment.”

There was a purported letter written and addressed to Saraki by Ballard, of Ballard Partners on February 5,   in which Atiku’s chances in Saturday’s election was described as “being very slim,” by the commissioned company. Okupe insisted “this letter has no iota of truth and smacks of outright forgery by the ruling party.”

He was emphatic that “APC’s resort to crude forgery actually shows the level of frustration and desperation of the ruling party.”

The former presidential spokesman, however, express confidence that Atiku stands a very bright chance of getting elected as president on Saturday.
