The Executive Director of Sir Emeka Okwuosa Foundation, Sir Azuka Okwuosa said the rice distribution and other gift items had remained a yearly feature of the foundation to ensure that every household, especially the less privileged, enjoyed Christmas without limit.

“This is one of the programmes the foundation does yearly to meet the needs of the people. Meeting the needs of the people has been the main objective of this foundation.

“Recall that during Covid-19 lockdown, we distributed beans, yam, rice and other food items in 12 states of the federation. Every three months the foundation conducts free medical outreach. Open-heart surgery has been added to that to ensure good and quality health of our people.

“The presence of the foundation is felt in education, infrastructural development including road construction to make life easy for the rural dwellers. The foundation has added building a church, a gigantic edifice which will soon be ready, “ said Okwuosa.
