Moshood Alabi A, is the main brain behind Dara’s Interior Concept.

As the Chief Executive officer, Mr. Alabi is a well – traveled individual with knacks for excellence.

As part of his qualities, Alabi has a reputation for relationship and personnel management, as well as quality assurance, which he has deployed in taking Dara’s interior concept to heights beyond the pedestrian.

Having attended Boston College Johannesburg, South Africa and earned a Diploma in Business Management, the 38-year old creative entrepreneur continues to deliver world-class performance in all the briefs. 

What inspires you the most at work?

I am a developer. So the sense of responsibility and compassion for my projects, driven by the fact that I was involved in them since their very conception and ability to work on any design, inspire me.

Other reasons include – a healthy work environment and hearty colleagues. This give me enough motivation to love my work. I do hate it for few solid reasons too. But I can get along with the job for most of the time.

Would you say the Nigerian economy is favorable for your business?

Well, No/Yes. Because, it’s a job that you can handle with any budget. It depends on the clients.

What are your views on the Coronavirus pandemic in the world?

It’s only God can help and heal the world we all need to seek for his mercy upon us.

What’s your relationship status?

I’m married with a daughter.

As a successful business person , what were your challenges starting up?

Hmmmm!!! They are so many challenges and sacrifices but I was able to pull through with the help of my team members.

When we started, it was called Dara’s Interior Concept. Founded since 2016. Now it is called Dara’s Interior Concept.

How are you overcoming the challenges?

Not too many challenges but my  team and I always try our possible best to handle it anytime.

What motivates you to continue in the business despite the challenges?

Because whenever we have challenges, it is  always easy for my team to re-correct whatever challenges. We always overcome it all.

Being a busy man, how do you attract and retain good hands to help you run the business?

My team are capable to handle the business whenever I am busy.

What is your assessment of the Nigerian business environment?

Business sustainability system.

What two or three things do you want government to do to make the environment friendlier to business people?

1 stable of electricity, 2 motorable roads.

Who are your idols or Mentors in your line of business?

Honestly, I have no one but each time I browse and search about interior designs I get more attracted to it.

What’s your advice to young people out there trying to be like you?

My advice to them is that, whatever they are doing, they should stay focused and believe in themselves. They should always stay humble and loyal to people around them. It pays.
