Okunlola Olasubomi aka Oluwasuga has shed light on his newly released Extended Play (EP) titled, Afro Cruise vol. 1.

According to the Oyo State-born talented singer, “Afro Cruise was inspired by my brother and official DJ Daddy GO. I initially wanted to record two singles, and he was like ‘bro, why not turn this into a body of work?’ That was how Afro Cruise came about. Afro Cruise was made for the purpose of enjoyment and every track was made with a lot of vibes and energy.”

Speaking on his favourite track on the EP, the European Studies graduate from University of Ibadan noted that he finds it difficult to choose because all the tracks are his favourites. “But there’s one I love so much. It’s called Jumat and I love it because it talks about my journey so far. Also, I get my inspiration from anywhere,” he admitted.

Asked who he would like to collaborate with between Oxlade, Fireboy, Buju and Ruger, Oluwasuga didn’t rule out working with any of the artistes, because all of them are doing well for themselves. “I’d soon be on that level. So, when I get there, I’m definitely going to work with every single one of them or they will work with me,” he said.
