Nigerian international and Leganes defender, Kenneth Omeruo believes the Super Eagles have the capacity to win the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.

Speaking exclusively in the series interview he granted Tribalfootball.com, the Chelsea loanee, who regretted that the Super Eagles missed out in the last two editions of the African football showpiece made no pretense that the Nigeria national team can win the AFCON trophy if the right mentality is applied by the players and the team’s handlers.

“Sadly, the Super Eagles missed out on the last two editions of AFCON. I think we have what it takes to win AFCON. We have a good team, a young team. We can get to the final and even win the tournament. It is just that, we will take every game as it comes with the seriousness it deserves,” he said.
