The movie narrates the story of Lefty and her gang members – Nikky, Busty and Chummy Choko in Askamaya Ghetto. The plot revolves around a set of twin sisters (double acted by Funke as Lefty and also as Ayomide) separated at birth and living completely different lives. One, a leader of a troublesome female gang in Askamaya Ghetto while the other lives in affluence in highbrow Amen Estate, Lekki, Lagos. Lefty is uncouth and lousy but her twin sister, Ayomide is polished and glamorous. Despite their different lifestyles, however, the family bond stands them in good stead as both often look out for each other in time of crisis.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the movie, Akindele said, “I want to showcase the lifestyle of people in the ghetto. I want to let people know about what the youths go through in the ghetto. We need to know what is going on there. Above all, I want people to laugh, have fun and learn some lessons.”
