Ondo State House of Assembly has lifted the suspension earlier placed on 15 members.

The House had, last week, suspended 15 of its members over their roles in the purported impeachment of the Speaker and his deputy, David Oleyelogun and Ogundeji Iroju, respectively.

However, at yesterday’s plenary, presided over by the Oleyelogun, the chamber resolved that the suspension should be lifted.

Oleyelogun, who announced the lifting of the suspension at plenary, hinged the decision on the intervention of stakeholders and notable political leaders within and outside the state.
