The president was earlier scheduled to visit the state, last week, to kick off the campaign but the visit was later put off.

Also expected at the rally are National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun; National Leader, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Senate President, Bukola Saraki; Speaker Yakubu Dogara, among others.
Adesanya said Governor of Imo State and Chairman of APC Governors’ Forum, Owelle Rochas Okorocha; Governor Solo- mon Lalong of Plateau State and Chair- man, National Campaign Committee of the party, would also accompany the president to the state.
He said Buhari’s visit was not only to campaign for the victory of his party’s can- didate, but, also, to show his love for the people of the state.
He urged the people of the state, es- pecially APC members, to troop out en masse to welcome the president and his team.
