The Trio of Paul Onuachu, Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman at the weekend netted for their various clubs.
Onuachu on Friday night emerged club hero in Belgium by netting four goals for Genk to trounce Charleroi 4-1 and move 10 points clear at the top of the Jupiler Pro League.
The goal poacher is now the leading scorer in the league with 12 goals in 16 matches.
Elsewhere in Italy, Napoli goal king, Victor Osimhen was on target against league rivals Atalanta. The lanky striker headed in an equaliser to erase Ademola Lookman’s penalty goal. He further showed his worth by providing an assist which inspired the Naples to a 1-2 victory.
Having championed his side to an unbeaten league run in the ongoing season, the 24-year-old Nigerian now leads the league’s top scorers chart with seven goals in 13 matches while Atalanta’s Lookman settled for five goals to place his side second on the log.
Meanwhile, the trio are likely to make the Super Eagles provisional list for the 17th November international friendly tie against Portugal. The duel which is billed to serve as a warm-up match for the World Cup-bound Portuguese side is scheduled for Lisbon.
