The Ohanaeze Ndigbo world wide has condemned the attack on the residence of Governor Hope Uzodinma at Omuma, Oru East, Imo State and urge the authorities to investigate and take appropriate measures to prevent further attacks and reoccurrence. In a statement signed by Secretary General of the Igbo Apex socio cultural group, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the group said the video trending online that captured the images of the arsonists at omuma oru East, shows that Southeast is facing insecurity challenges from both hoodlums and killer herdsmen.
The statement further urges Southeast Governors to buckle up and begin to meet with the youths, “our beliefs and suspicions are reinforced on the post activities of ” Emene killings “, which was the beginning of hoodlums attacks on police formations in Southeast, and the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth findings and reports are that the “Emene killings “were ignored and the consequences are what Southeast are facing.
Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide urges IPOB to maintain their non violent agitation, as we call on the Governors to consult widely and freely, because the solutions might not be far fetched and those who have the magic wands are excluded in the Southeast Governors meetings
