To start with, may I use this medium to appreciate you, by saying, well done sir, for all the good works you’re doing in our state since the mandate was given to you by the good people of Akwa Ibom State.
In reality, some numerous projects undertaken by your administration, which include, construction of roads, revitalisation of Peacock Paint Industry, building of power substations, and construction of fertiliser plant and electric meter assembly etc, are commendable.
Hence, I must add that, with your pedigree and with the big heart to accomplish goals just like what you did at Zenith Bank, I believe when your eight years tenure is over, you’ll certainly make the state to become an investors haven.
However sir, in line with your five-point agenda, which included, job creation and also with the spirit of Dakkada Philosophy, which you launched on September 23, 2015, please permit me to draw your attention to one of the best companies, Quality Ceramics Ltd, in Ikot Ebom Itam, Itu LGA, which still remains closed since 1992, with a view to rehabilitating it.
As a matter of fact, with the high demand for tiles products now in our country, if this company is revived again, truly, many youth would be employed and also, the state government will benefit from it.
Meanwhile, as all Akwa Ibomites look forward to the reopening day, let me also, point out that, before the closure of this company, there were so many staff (well trained) that worked there, but sadly, their entitlements were not paid.
Therefore, his Excellency, as a good father, please I am appealing you use your good office and ensure that justice is done to these staff as regards the payment of all their outstanding entitlements. By so doing, I hope their plights would be alleviated, they will arise and shine, and also, posterity will remember you as a great achiever.
