In a clime or country where people are only waiting for one  to first die before one is celebrated and eulogized for the  rare  leadership traits and outstanding business acumen that have distinquished one from among their contemporaries, I  make bold to keep meticulously using my space in the media to celebrate excellence, hardwork, industry,  even as I  support good governance and criticize bad policies where necessary.

And in the recent past, I have walked my talk by raising the bar of  social awareness about a number of radical community developmental projects practically executed in Abba, Nwangele,  and across Imo communities by no less a personality than High Chief Johnbosco Chukwuma Ozigbu, Ph.D (Ogwuaga of Ogwuaga).

Also important to note is the global impact which EzeIgbo Ghana, HRM Eze Dr. Amb. Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu, is making by promoting Igbo culture and tradition in West Africa and around the world; reverberating their essence as a people, their significant role towards economic development and nation-building, and rich cultural heritage through the celebration of the Igbo  annual  new yam festival in the Republic of Ghana. A feat, which has been severally commended by Igbo federal lawmakers in the National Assembly including; Deputy Speaker of the House of Represenatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, Senator Osita Izunaso, representing Imo West Senatorial District, Hon. Barr. Ugochinyere Ikenga  Imo, representing Ideato North|South Federal Constituency, Hon. Chief Chukwugozie Canice Moore Nwachukwu, representing Orlu/Oru East/Orsu Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Ugonna Ozurigbo, among others.

In lieu of the above, you cannot count first  honest  20  Imo illustrious sons and leaders ( I don’t mean to include  politicians, elected and appointed government functionaries who spend collective tax payers’ money on our  behalf through their monthly salaries or other allowances), without a prominent  mention of Ikenna Power Okoro, that have  directly impacted on their immediate communities and local government areas. Men who are dispassionately serving God and humanity with their hard earned resources through self sponsored community projects and related humanitarian outreaches without noise,  or  waiting for a clap trap.

The Umunna  Atta – Njaba  born Abuja based business maverick, philantropist, and respected community leader,  Ikenna Power Okoro, is among the very few independent Imo high-flying business men who have etched their footprints on the sands of time by dint of hardwork, honesty, dedication, proven track receords of integrity, selfless community service, bridge building across all divides, excellence in effective service delivery and closing of business deals. As a successful serial entrepreneur and philantropist of note, Ikenna Power Okoro has  garnered both business and leadership experiences on his multifaceted routes in life.

Patient, peaceful, proactive, accomodating, and a good team player, Ikenna Power Okoro’s  ascendancy in the business firmament of Nigeria in the last two decades has been like a fairytale adventure. While in the cutthroat terrain of the ever-changing  Nigerian ecosystem and economic environment, he has successfully ridden the tides of different sectors under his business conglomerate; Power Consortium Ltd.

From bottom to top, Ikenna Power Okoro’s leadership style is inclusive and wholesome, paired with a compassionate disposition that causes his gaze and focus to stay on the needs of the people. No wonder the most attractive of the waves of cheers and commendations sent to this man from whose heart flows the milk of human kindness usually come from the downtrodden whose lives have been tremendously touched very positively.

Through his humanitarian organisation, Power Foundation, alot of indigent but intelligent students have been awarded scholarships to university levels, houses built for poor families, many  youths empowered with functional skills, while hospital bills worth millions of Naira paid for various degrees of sickness including surgeries.

Surprisingly, in the last four years till date, he has sustained, through Power Foundation, the free feeding program after every  Sunday mass  at the St. Michael Anglican Church , Umunnam Atta- Njaba LGA, Imo State; where all  worshippers  or parishioners in attendance after mass are thoroughly fed.
