Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will, today, lead a Federal Government’s delegation to Ondo State, for the Niger Delta summit.

The summit, organised by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), will draw participants from the six Niger Delta states.

Also expected at the summit are the Minister of State for Niger Delta Development, Prof. Claudius Daramola and Co-ordinator of the Niger Delta Amnesty Programme, Brigadier General Paul Boroh.

Ondo Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, is expected to lead delegates from the state, while participants from other Niger Delta states will also attend.

Chairman, Ondo State Oil Producing Development Corporation (OSOPDEC), Gbenga Edema, said arrangements have been concluded to receive Osinbajo and his team.

He said the summit will provide avenue for oil producing states in the country to chart ways forward.
