Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has led governors to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The governors were in the Presidential Villa for the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting.
NEC meeting is usually chaired by the Vice President with governors, Attorney General of the Federation (CJN) and Minister of Justice, Ministers of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and the Governor Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) as members.
Thursday’s meeting started 10:11am at the Council Chamber before going on a short break for the visit.
Most of the state governors were in attendance when the meeting started.
The president, returned on Friday, after 50 days medical vacation in the United Kingdom.
